All
Srila Prabhupada lost
When
he left holy Vrndavana
The
Have
you forgotten?
The
separation he bore
Of
the beloved deities Sri Sri Radha Damodar
And
how his heart was torn
Have
your forgotten?
The
years he struggled alone
The
time he went down to the street
No
place to cal his home
Have
you forgotten?
How
he took nothing for himself
Would
sleep only a few hours
To
put his books on our shelves
Have
you forgotten?
The
temples that he opened
The
deities he installed there
And
the bhakti in his world that were spoken
Have
you forgotten?
How
he captured our hearts
With
his selfless service
No
one could ever play his part
Don’t
you know?
He
is with us still
And
all your spiritual desires
He
can still fulfill!
